Nominet are seeking an Data Analyst with experience in a similar role. The data analyst will provide intelligence from the data that meets the needs of customers across the business and externally.  The role will be part of the technical department within the Business Data Team consisting of another analyst as well as business intelligence (BI) developers, database administrators and data scientists.

You will have excellent mathematical, analytical and communication skills. This role will also require a broad understanding of business processes and have a good grasp of data technologies such as BI systems, SQL and databases.

Researcher - Cyber

Nominet are looking for an enthusiastic cyber researcher to join the Cyber Security team working on a variety of topics to help secure critical DNS services. The candidate will use their understanding of cyber security, networking and data analysis to help design and prototype new tools and techniques.

We are looking for the right person to help drive the cyber research strategy who will be passionate, motivated and have the appropriate skills. The job title and salary will be allocated depending on the skills and experience of the candidate. In order to qualify for the Senior researcher role the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years working in the cyber research field and have demonstrable output such as white papers or innovative products or services.

This is a great role for an ambitious candidate who is keen to support and advance services that form part of the UK’s critical internet infrastructure and essential cyber services to customers including NCSC’s pioneering UK public sector DNS service. There will be opportunities to represent Nominet at events and conferences and collaborate with external organisations in academia, government and industry.

General Description of role:

The senior Internet systems engineer will work at the core of the Internet.  Designing and managing critical national infrastructure and government secure services.

You will architect, build and operate the Nominet DNS platforms and Internet connectivity, carrying out business as usual support and project duties as required.

It will be expected that you take a lead in analysing requirements, documenting solutions and leading other team members in successful new service deployments.
