Systems Administrator

What does a Systems Administrator do?

Part of a small, high performing team, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the on-premise, hybrid and cloud IT Infrastructure services and systems for Nominet and its customers.

You will enjoy the challenge of understanding the diversity of skills and technologies needed to deliver this service to the business. You will want to develop excellent relationships across the business and will enjoy meeting and understanding the technical and business challenges faced by other teams.

This role is a great opportunity for the right candidate to gain exposure to a wide range of technologies that underpins the critical national infrastructure for the UK registry services.

Product Development Lead

What does the Product Development Team Lead do?

You will be a crucial part of our Cyber Security team to bring to life our roadmap and solve our customers business challenges. A passionate team player and manager who flourishes on delivering challenging projects in a dynamic environment.

Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, you will be accountable for the design, planning, execution and delivery of the software releases that enhance Nominet’s ground-breaking DNS Analytics and Threat Intelligence Platform: NTX. Nominet’s solutions are actively employed by Enterprise, ISPs and Governments to protect their networks and users. 

You will take ownership of technical development and deliverables within projects to ensure the highest quality of service for Nominet’s customers.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that our roadmap commitments are delivered on time, to spec and with quality. As such this is a highly visible and critical role for the success of the Cyber Security business unit.

Customer Success Manager

What does a Customer Success Manager do?

As Customer Success Manager you will be responsible for the renewal, retention, and overall experience of the Government customer base of our Cyber Security product. Cyber security excites you and you will have experience in the enterprise technology space, IT Cyber, cloud services, globally deployed technologies or Managed Security Service Provider industry.

Working with major Government departments both in the UK and globally, you will build strong relationships across your accounts and your time will be spent in face-to-face meetings, building relationships and being the first port of call for key accounts.

As Customer Success Manager you will work closely across many company departments and will be focused on delivering an overall excellent customer experience, seeking out both cost saving and commercial opportunities, and ensuring we protect and grow our renewable revenue.

QA Analyst

What does a QA Analyst do?

Part of a growing, successful and well-established QA Team, our Quality Assurance Coordinators prepare, execute and close multiple test activities at a time, often across various areas of our business. The team is moving to the introduction of automated testing and you will have the opportunity to support this move.

What does a Database Administrator (DBA) do?

As Database Administrator you are responsible for the administration, performance, integrity and security of the Oracle Database, Business Intelligence, and other databases used within Nominet.

You proactively administer the database environments across multiple technologies to provide best-of-breed database support to the Nominet business. Deliver enhancements and projects in line with a technical roadmap across multiple database technologies and platforms.

Channel Marketing Lead

What does the Channel Marketing Lead do?

The Channel Marketing Lead is responsible for developing, managing and implementing strategic initiatives for our Cyber Security channel partners, ensuring they have access to relevant and timely content that actively assists the sales cycle. Working with the Cyber Marketing Manager and wider team, you will shape go to market strategies, strengthen channel partner relationships, and deliver exciting integrated programmes designed to improve market share and penetration into target markets and geographies that optimise revenue.

DevOps Lead

What does the DevOps Lead do?

As DevOps Lead working in the Cyber Solutions team you will flourish on delivering challenging projects in a dynamic environment.

You will play a lead role in streamlining processes and improving the “time to value” of infrastructure and services Nominet deploys to its clients. This is vital work as these services are used to detect and disrupt real cyber security events manifesting amongst billions of DNS queries. 

You will live and breath automation in a cloud environment and will have a relentless drive for continuous improvement, increased automation and efficiency derived from both technical and process improvements.

You will have exposure to technologies like Ansible and Teraform and will have used them to deploy services in one or more cloud environments. Managing a small team of DevOps Engineers, you be responsible for the creation of robust infrastructure that can be quickly reconfigured and disposed of as improved iterations become available.

Research and Data Science Lead

What does the Research & Data Science Lead do?

In this role you will lead and manage the Data Science & Research Analyst team to map the research agenda to the product roadmap, along with surfacing the value of our data for the benefit of customers and the product development of our cyber security services.

HR Operations Manager

The HR Operations Manager will drive continuous improvement across our HR operations, ensuring the highest integrity, accuracy and quality of our HR systems, administration, HR service, process and policy maintenance as well as providing insightful analysis of our people data. 

You will leverage technology to ensure a culture of continuous improvement is embedded across the way we work providing an efficient and effective HR service to our customers whilst managing the the smooth integration of new policy, systems and practice across the business working in partnership with the HR Business Partner team. 

You will utilise your systems, process and analytics expertise plus general business acumen across the employee lifecycle to build appropriate HR processes, analytics and associated advisory services that support business decisions, drive business performance and ensure satisfied customer service is delivered through the team.
