Digital Communications Executive
What does the Digital Communications Executive do?
Working in collaboration with the Corporate Communications manager and the wider Corporate Affairs team, the digital communications executive is responsible for ensuring the company is using online channels in an impactful and effective way. The role has responsibility for bringing ideas on how to utilise owned and earned media, and where effective promotion should be used to amplify our message, with a passion for ensuring our channels represent the breadth, and ambition of what we do.

What we expect from a Digital Communications Executive?
Day-to-day management of content production/posting (liasing with external partners and content producers, where required), creating and posting content to our social media platforms, and copywriting/editing where needed.
Manage and maintain the content plans for Nominet’s new products and services
Maintain a good working knowledge of the industries encompassing Nominet’s diverse product and service offering, including cyber security and domain names.
Track and report on the effectiveness of content to drive improvements
Lead on the shape and direction of Nominet’s social media strategy
Oversee the day-to-day management of Nominet’s corporate social media activity in relation to new products and services (predominantly Twitter and LinkedIn but also encompassing YouTube), creating written and visual content
Use the CMS (Wordpress) to ensure the Nominet website, and Careers website is up to date, reflects the company brand and tone of voice, and has impactful content.
What skills, experience & behaviours we look for?
Demonstrable experience of corporate digital marketing, technical experience of updating websites using Wordpress and familier with SEO and google analytics. Using data, information and your expertise to ensure that we are relentless about making the Nominet corporate website world class.
We are looking for someone who will take ownership of the social media experience at Nominet and think about what is out there and how to promote content and assets. Helping us to make sure that you promote the Nominet brand to the best of our ability.
You will be creative, and have a curious mind as you will have the opportunity to make your mark and to be able to set the agenda. Having the confidence to ask questions and ability to influence internal peers and stakeholders to change content or website strategies to meet the overall look and feel of the Nominet brand.
