Head of Marketing New Products and Services

Develop and implement strategic direction and ideas to drive the demand for Nominet’s new and emerging products and services. 

Take proactive ownership of the new business product portfolio, using commercial acumen to shape GTM strategies and optimise revenues.

  • Work with the Director of Marketing and Service Delivery to develop, implement and drive the delivery of the marketing strategy for new products and services
  • Work closely and forge strong working relationships with the New Products and Services Commercial Director, Director of Registry Services and their business development teams to shape a Go to Market strategy for new products and services as they evolve
  • Create a commercial development road map for all products and services that meet new revenue targets
  • Develop successful market proposition and messaging for new products and programmes
  • Create relevant Go to Market collateral and communication programmes to support new product launches
  • Define and track customer segments for each new product
  • Define a pricing strategy for all new products, including a tactical marketing plan   
  • Develop key performance metrics for all marketing investments
  • Explore opportunities to further product reach and increase sales
  • Be an inspirational leader across the business providing expert marketing advice
  • Manage relevant budgets to ensure that the marketing spend is within defined financial plans and ensure that resources are targeted to achieve business priorities
  • Be accountable for the successful execution of all marketing campaigns, working with Head of Marketing and Head of Content to deliver ROI and ensure continuous improvement
  • Identify, devise and deliver relevant market research programmes, gather competitor analysis, track market trends, etc. and interpret results and share insight across the business
  • Work with the Head of Content and / or external agencies to develop highly tailored content for white papers, digital assets, collateral and customer case studies
  • Manage relationships and budgets with agencies and suppliers
  • Coach, motivate & develop individuals/teams
  • Be a professional role model for the company

Background & Profile:

  • In depth knowledge of product marketing and business development in a b2b environment essential
  • Strong commercial acumen, experience managing budgets and P&L
  • Preferably degree educated, MBA in marketing a plus
  • Business awareness and knowledge of the technology and internet marketplace
  • Analytically minded with the ability to analyse data / research
  • Excellent attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits 
  • Strong ability to prioritise, manage expectations, plan and resource projects
