What does the Head of Product Delivery do?

We are looking for someone who thrives in this dynamic market to steer the direction of our products based on both the current and future business challenges our customers face and clearly articulate the value we bring.  You will have a background working in a product related role (Cyber Security/ tech focus preferred) and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage the product life cycle and deliver roadmap commitments on time and to specification.

What we expect from the Head of Product Delivery?

Working closely with Sales, Presales, Marketing, Research & Development and the development teams to gather feedback that can be distilled into a value driven roadmap.

Manage the technical teams product backlog to ensure that features and requests are filtered into production is a timely way

Own the product roadmap, creating both an internal and external version that highlights client value

Produce and own the product service descriptions (working with technical author) and ensure they remain accurate

As the subject matter expert, support the sales function through the delivery of sales training, client engagement

Using Sales Force to track and monitor the financial performance of the product, looking for ways to enhance margins through process automation and value added services (such as support)

Track the cyber security market though latest industry, competitor, regulatory and threat landscapes, looking for new opportunities to add value

Ensuring high quality supporting documentation (presentations, positioning, service descriptions, workflows)

Effective management of the product lifecycle

Providing business direction to the product development effort to produce/enhance the products.

Developing and refining a product strategy based on customer needs. 

Delivering a clearly articulated roadmap

Ensuring that the necessary product support capabilities are in place to support the product when it launches

 

What skills, experience & behaviours we look for?

Knowledge of cyber security market (DNS analytics) or networking technology/ software highly desireable

Demonstratable experience in a similar position

Extensive influencing and inter-personal communication skills

Ability to translate technical features into customer benefits

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detail orientated and with a methodical and organised approach

Ability to work in and coordinate complex cross functional teams
