Our Programme Development & Engagement Managers are Thinkers, dreamers & doers driving our ambition to improve the lives of one million young people by 2020. What we ask of a Programme Development & Engagement Manager

There are things we ask of everyone who works with us, and some that are specific to each role.  Here’s what we need from our Programme Development & Engagement Manager.

Develop ground breaking programmes
By exploring how technology and innovation can transform some of the most pressing social issues, be it mental health, wellbeing, digital inclusion or youth unemployment.

Show your Passion
Make an impact, shout from the roof tops why you love delivering social impact.  Be the go-getter who engages and inspires, stakeholder, partners and staff at Nominet about your public benefit work.

Build Momentum
Showcase Nominet’s Tech for Good credentials by building awareness and being a big-picture painter to share our amazing story externally about our digital revolution.

Keep everyone in the loop
Analyse, interpret and present information (written and numeric)– to keep us, and our stakeholders, updated. Stay in touch with and ensure we build and maintain positive partner relationships. Communicate positively at all levels, inside and outside the company.

The skills and experience they bring…

You will have experience in managing and delivering programmes and partnerships with a social purpose. That includes as a grant maker or directly with a charity, social enterprise or NGO.

You will relish working in all kinds of ways with all kinds of people, and build strong relationships with partners and colleagues alike. You will gladly juggle and multitask across lots of strands of work with varying priorities.

You will love communicating – listening, explaining and diving into group discussions. And you will write in a way that’s easy to understand and digest – and can analyse and interpret all manner of information, including numerical.

Your know your way around programme life-cycle from research and design through to grant application, selection, monitoring and evaluation. Experience of theory of change, research and a variety of project and programme techniques.
